“I had the pleasure of meeting Bev over twenty years ago.  For me, it was an opportunity as my business was music and I thought this was a great way to meet another incredible singer.  But what was really fun, we had an opportunity to go into the studio and work together.  Clearly, Bev was a powerhouse vocalist.  She had the pipes to do a fantastic job and really move people with these vocals.  But to see behind that, she has the heart of a person who really cares about people who have suffered in life.  Others had been put in terrible life circumstances and Bev had a heart for them because, behind her own story, was somebody who had suffered. 

Bev was somebody who had gone through some pain in her life and had tough things to deal with as a young girl.  Out of that came this heart that this music flows out of.  For me, it was a lot of fun to get to know Bev.  I’ve always thought she had a gift to touch people’s hearts.  I know her music will always touch people because, that’s the kind of person she is.”
